Agreement to terms
By downloading, installing, or using Itsytv, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
Description of service
Itsytv is a free, open source macOS application that provides a menu bar interface for controlling Apple TV devices on your local network. The app requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later and an Apple TV running tvOS 15 or later on the same network.
License
Itsytv is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the conditions of the MIT License. The full license text is available in the GitHub repository.
Disclaimer of warranties
Itsytv is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the app is with you.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the app or the use or other dealings in the app.
Apple TV device control
Itsytv allows you to control Apple TV devices on your local network. You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for the devices you control through the app
- The app communicates with Apple TV devices over your local network using encrypted protocols
- Device availability and responsiveness depend on your network conditions
- The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.
Third-party services
Itsytv communicates with Apple TV devices on your local network. Apple TV, macOS, tvOS, and related trademarks are the property of Apple Inc. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of any Apple services or devices.
Changes to the app
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
