Terms of service

By downloading, installing, or using Itsytv, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Itsytv is an application that provides a remote-control interface for Apple TV devices on your local network, available for iPhone (iOS 17+), iPad (iPadOS 17+), and Mac (macOS 14 Sonoma+). Your Apple TV must run tvOS 15 or later on the same network.

The iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps distributed through the App Store are licensed, not sold. Your use is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). The Mac version is also distributed free of charge as open source software under the MIT License via GitHub, where the full license text is available.

Itsytv is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the app is with you.

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the app or the use or other dealings in the app.

Itsytv allows you to control Apple TV devices on your local network. You acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for the devices you control through the app
• The app communicates with Apple TV devices over your local network using encrypted protocols
• Device availability and responsiveness depend on your network conditions
• The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

Itsytv communicates with Apple TV devices on your local network. Apple TV, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and related trademarks are the property of Apple Inc. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of any Apple services or devices.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the app.

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
